Act. 1 - Reflections about other groups (Blanca)

About Travelchers:

According to the presentation that Travelchers did last week in our class, I would say that in general talking they did it great.

I would start this little review saying that the thing that impressed me the most was the fact that they all knew everything by heart and that they really were understanding the things they were talking about, so they clearly dedicated lot of time working on the presentation and that is someting I consider really important.
The organization was quite good (except for what the teacher mentioned about the complexity of the works they individually had to do (some were harder than others). But as they said, they finally ended up helping each other with their individual group, so they worked equally and as a team.
The power point presentation was very visual and clear, they spoke in a proper way and they explained the theory with great examples of it.

Talking about the activity as maybe the only negative aspect that I would mention is that it was really creative and interesting but I think they didn´t knew how to explain it very well and that provoked that we couldn´t achieved the main goals of it.
Because of that, I would say that at the time of explaining the activities we need to be more clear and concret on what the students need to do, and if it is not working, we need to adapt the activity to the situation or to our students as we talked about it in class.

About Education League:
Starting with the fact that this group did their presentation in costumes of super heroes, it produced a postive aspect for them because it cought our attention instantly, so thanks to that they reminded me how important is to be visual or to work with visual things during the presentation to avoid being monotonus and boring.
I think they worked very good as a group, they all contributed in a very equal way and theory was well explained.
The power point was also nice althought it wasn´t excessibly original.

In relation to the activity I would say that it was well chosen because it was kind of a physical game (I used to practice Acrosport at school in phsical education) and super heroes are known for doing practical things.
Apart from that, the activity was well explained and organized, they worked in a quickly and efficent way and although we didn´t have time to do many any figure, I found it really interesting.

About Fernweh:
Althought this group started having some difficulties because of the fact that they couldn´t have the necessary time to meet, I think they end up doing a very nice work.
With them, I learnt the importance of meeting outside of class to talk and concrete many different aspects of our teams as I said before. But I also have learnt many other different things:
A thing that I would deffinetly highlight is the activity they started with (the one with the blanket) I think it was really useful to explain the real meaning of cooperative learning and it was also really funny (wich is something I consider really necessary).
The fact that they have designed an especial logo for their team and that it was in every single diapo of the presentation was very nice because it gave them a reinforcement as a team.

Talking about the activity I would say that it was very well explained and it could be useful for helping children to study different topics!

In the other hand, something that they could improve is the nervousness that some people had during the presentation which made them speak very quickly and that can cause that the public gets a little bit lost. But this could be correct in a very eassy way, so good job and as a costructive criticism, try to improve this little things for the next time!!!

About Othersiders:
It is very obvious (at least from my point of view) that this group have worked a lot to expaining in a more deeply way the contents of this presentation, so thanks to taht, theory was very well explained.
They were organized, they knew what they were talking about and their power point was well done.
It is true that I consider that some people spoke more than others (but this is something that also happend in my group and that is quite normal in team oral presentations) so I think that we both need to improve that aspect so the participation of the member of the group can be equal.

Talking about the activity, I would say that it was very interesting, funny and very useful to teach becuase children can learn a lot of different contents and topics with it.
This activity especially helped me to understand in a better way TGT technique, so it was very nice to do it!

About Los Gochos:
First of all, I am going to start highlighting the fact that they really look as a team. With that I mean that it was completly clear that they all worked equally, the all did they roles in a fantastic way and so, they were very organized.
I think the idea of starting with a song or with a hands up that all the members of the grop knows, its fantastic to motive them and to have te feeling of a united team.
Their presentation was very visual and cachy,  with a different formate (prezzi). Theory was really well explained with their own words and in a very clear way, but I think it was a little bit long (so something to improve would be to adapt to the established time).
It is worth mentioning all this things I am talking about are the result of a lot of meatings out of class, so they dedicated a lot of commun work to make it possible.

According to the activity, althought they didn´t have enought time to put it into practice, they explained us a little bit how would be done and I think the idea was very nice.
They brought many materials they did their own and that ment they worked a lot on this project, so that´s a good point to take into account for them.
I really liked your presentation, Los Gochos! Well done!!
